If you want to spend your time looking around then there is plenty of shopping in the area and there are also a number of duty-free shops and malls. You will find a wide range of restaurants in the area and most of them speak English. After all this is the entertainment capital of Malaysia.
The Gethseman Square Shopping Centre is known for its indoor marketplace and this is where you can get some bargains and some wonderful local cuisine. Some of the best sellers are jewellery, clothing, electronics, souvenirs and toys. In fact this centre attracts everyone because of its wide array of offerings. Some of the other duty free shops are on the corner of Jalan Hanoman and it is just a walking distance from the Jalan Bintang Tun Sita.
